Julie Taylor has built her reputation creating timeless interiors that honor both classic and current elements. She has been strongly influenced by her artist mother, who helped her to appreciate the diversity of the creative spirit, starting when she put a paintbrush in Julie’s hand before she could walk. An accomplished painter and designer, Julie ultimately opened her own boutique interior design firm, Taylor Greenwalt Interiors, in 2011.
A native Californian, Julie infuses her casual California style into her interior décor with exquisite results. Her projects range in scope from single rooms to full-scale renovations. In the last few years, Julie has visited many United States and European antique shops and flea markets for vintage finds and unique pieces that reflect the heart of each client.
Julie lives with her husband Ken at the base of the northernmost peak in the Santa Monica Mountains, not far from the California Coast that inspires her work.
